XERF is the world's first and only dual-frequency monopolar RF device for skin tightening. XERF works to structurally tighten skin from within rather than just changing the surface.
XERF works by delivering radio frequency to shallow, middle, and deep levels of skin. This enables us to tighten the skin from within the dermal fibroseptal network. The fibroseptal network consists of dense connective tissue and collagen fibers to provide strength and elastin fibers to provide elasticity. XERF targets all of this and tightens the fibers up offering an instant lift. Over time, collagen and elastin are produced to give a more youthful appearance.
The number of treatments you will need will vary depending on your skin laxity. We generally recommend two treatments a month apart with a follow up every six months for maintenance. Your consultation will give you a more accurate number of how many treatments you will need.
During Treatment you will likely feel a warm sensation, most often described feeling like a hot stone massage. There is no numbing involved with the XERF treatment.
After Treatment there is little to no downtime. You may experience a little redness and/or swelling immediately after treatment which typically dissipates within a few hours.
